A competent advisor is more valuable than any fortune. This short aphorism drives home a powerful truth: intellectual capital and wisdom far outweigh material wealth in both importance and utility. It sounds a bit like something your grandma would tell you while handing you two bucks for ice cream, right? But if you think about it, there’s some serious, hard-hitting logic behind it. Money is just paper or digits in a banking app, while competence is the "software" that actually makes things happen. Here are some real-life scenarios for you to evaluate: Imagine a scenario where a pipe bursts in your bathroom, rapidly transforming your apartment into an indoor swimming pool. You could have a million dollars in your account, but in that exact moment, those numbers won’t stop the water. Could you please identify who knows which valve to turn and how to plug the leak within five minutes? That person is your personal Messiah. Their advice and skill in that moment are worth more than all your savings combined. You’ve decided to buy a car, and you’ve saved up a serious stack of cash. You go to the car lot and see a shiny masterpiece. But without a "competent advisor"—a friend who can tell if an engine is about to die just by the smell of the exhaust—you're wasting your money. His simple saying, "Walk away from this one!" is literally more valuable than the money you spent two years saving. If you have $10,000 and give it to someone who "heard something from a neighbor," you’ll most likely lose it all. But if you pay someone who actually understands the markets, their advice won't just protect your money—it will multiply it. The Bottom Line. For me, intellectual capacity and knowledge are the most important factors. Although wealth is a valuable asset, its value is ephemeral—inflation may deplete it today, or you may waste it on foolish decisions. However, if you have a knowledgeable partner, or if you are that individual yourself, you will consistently succeed. This incident reminds me that almost all my books touch on this theme. Specifically, my book "The Wealth of the Great Kingdom"—a romantic historical saga—clearly shows how people can overcome massive obstacles and reach their goals through the right advice, even without a dime in their pockets. So, cherish your smart contacts—they are your real fortune!

Every new pagan is half Christian, half Buddhist, part Jew, and part Muslim. The new paganism preserves fragments of past faiths and superstitions. None of the new people truly believes in anything.
